Our desire is for you to have the very best experience of the Hunter Valley and Copper Creek. To assist us in delivering you that experience we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere to before, during and after your stay. These terms and conditions are accepted by you upon confirming your booking and making payment.
Rates and Minimum Length of Stay Requirements
A 50% deposit will be required at the time of your booking, the remain 50% will be required 14 days before your arrival. Our rates vary by room type, availability, day of the week and season; weekends are always in high demand. During periods of high demand or major events and for certain packages we may apply a requirement for a minimum length of stay. You will be advised of this at the time of your reservation. Prices quoted are subject to change at any time.
Security bond
On the day of arrival, a pre-authorisation bond of $200.00 will be held on your elected credit card, this will automatically be released back onto the card within 7 business days upon check out.
Cancellations
The following conditions apply:
· Fully refundable 30 days from booking date
· 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before booking date.
· 100% non-refundable 7 days prior to booking date.

Packages
All are mid-week; & Mid-week defined as Tuesday through to Thursday (except public holidays)
Contact free check in/out and keys.
Standard check-in is available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and check-out is 10:00am on the day of your departure. With prior arrangement we will try to be flexible and do our best to accommodate your preferred check in/out times.
The Cabins all have their own Lock box on the front of each cabin. Details of the access code will be provided the day of your check in. Upon check-out, keys can be left in cabin or returned to the lock box.
Children
Children and Infants are Not permitted to stay in any Cabins without an Adult. As this is a rural property all children under the age of 15 yrs, are to be in the care of an adult at all times.
Excluding the family Cabin, our cabin rates are based on two adults. An additional Extra person charges will be charged when an extra guest will be staying unless stated otherwise. The Extra Person rate for adults will be a fee of $100 per night, Children and infants requiring additional bed or Cot will be charge a set one of fee $100, this fee will be added to you when you finalise, you’re booking. This rate includes the supply of Trundle and/or Cot, along with bedding. Children and Infants sharing the family Cabin with their parents or guardians will not be charged any additional fee except when exceeding the maximum occupancy for the given room type.
Pet Friendly
Pets are permitted for an additional nightly and final cleaning fee; These fees are per Pet with a Maximum two pet policy. Pets need to be noted and included at the time of your booking. Due to hygiene and safety this is restricted to one cabin and subject to availability.
Pets are not permitted on the property without restraints and must be restrained at all times.
Visitors
To ensure a tranquil and peaceful stay we ask that noise is kept to a minimum.
Any excessive noise that affects the comfort of our guests or neighbours will not be tolerated. Any additional guests will be required to pay an additional fee of $50 per night.
Injury, Loss, and Damage
No responsibility is taken for items left on the premises during your stay or after departure. Copper Creek Retreat does not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, or additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond our control.
Breakages or damages to our Cabins that are not caused by normal wear and tear will be charged to your credit card, upon request we will provide an invoice of itemised items to you. Should a guest in your party damage/soil any linen or towels to the extent that it cannot be used again, we may claim the full replacement cost, and again charged to your credit card.
In the event that the property has been damaged, whether such damages are wilful or not, it is the sole discretion of the owner to charge any losses back to the client who made the booking and entered into these terms. A debit will be charged to the credit card used at the time of booking, the guest hereby authorises Copper Creek Retreat to do so, upon accepting these terms.
Alcohol
Whilst we acknowledge that alcohol consumption is common in the hunter valley. We ask that this is done so in moderation when on the property. Copper Creek Retreat does not accept liability for any Injury or Harm to any person and/or person in your care when under the influence of Alcohol. This is also applicable to any personal damages, loss, or additional expense as a result of excessive consumption.
Smoke Free
Copper Creek Retreat is a smoke free home, and we ask that you do not smoke in the Cabins. If you would like to smoke, please do so outside with all the windows and doors closed. Please do not extinguish your cigarettes near any part of the house or outdoor furniture. NEVER throw any lite cigarettes away as this is a potential fire risk, particularly in summer. An additional fee of $100 for professional deodorising will be charged if smoking inside the Cabins is evident.
Fire Pits, Total Fire Ban & Fire Danger
Each Cabin Has its own Fir pit for private use of each cabin.
These are only permitted for use during the winter season as advised.
Fire Bans are in place from 1st October through to 31st of March and is subject to change if the season is extended. Please take Adherence to fire advice and warnings issued by NSW SES & FS when necessary. Should any fire be lit when not permitted a fine of $1000 will be charged by CCR, you will also be liable to pay any other fines and or penalty imposed by the FS & SES.
Working Vineyard
Copper Creek Retreat is situated on the grounds of a working vineyard, and you may from time to time hear tractors, spraying and other farm equipment. especially if you are staying during the Vintage. None of these are intrusive and will not impact on your stay. The bird songs are usually the loudest noise at our property, or the Lion at the Zoo on most days. Unfortunately, we do Not allow guests to walk through the vineyard unsupervised due to the risk of fall and injury, should you wander through the vines you do so at your own risk, CCR & CCE will not accept any responsibility or liability.
